I grew up on a farm in rural Wisconsin before I started my teaching journey in 2015 in Costa Rica, where I studied to receive my TEFL certification. Since then, I have taught English to all levels and ages in various countries around the world, including Costa Rica, Colombia, Italy, the USA, and Guatemala. In 2018 I moved to Guatemala where I continued to give classes in person working with various schools, and started to learn Spanish as well. In 2021, I moved my business online and began life as a digital nomad, traveling to 40 countries and studying four languages while working full time as an ESL teacher. In additon to Spanish, I have an intermediate level of Italian and Brazilian Portuguese, and a beginner level of Egyptian Arabic.

My focus is on helping business professionls level up their English to get their dream job or to land a promotion, but I also love teaching the passionate learner who wants to improve their English for communication or travel. I specialize in grammar, (and believe that grammar IS fun!) as well as pronunciation and accent reduction to help you sound more like a native American speaker. Whatever your goal, I can help you to reach the level you are striving for

When I am not teaching, I love being active - running up the volcanos in Guatemala or spending time in the gym, Latin dancing, reading, learning languages, doing art, and spending time with my elderly horse and two parrots.
